It is our pleasure to invite you to partner with the 14th biennial Footwear Biomechanics Symposium (FBS 2019). The FBS 2019 conference will be held at Pomeroy Lodge in Kananaskis just a short drive from Calgary, Canada.
Our Sponsorship Mission
The FBS 2019 committee is confident that as a sponsor, you will be able to leverage the exposure to a large number of attendees, from a variety of sectors in the footwear industry and academic institutions. Our opportunities span from supporting social functions to recognizing scientific excellence with Award and Keynote support.
We also want to recognize and thank sponsors from our previous congresses who are intending to return, and welcome new organizations to best promote your products and services.
It is our objective to provide simple, yet varied sponsorship opportunities, thus addressing the varied requirements of our partners. We plan to utilize traditional staples like banners, brochures, programs and websites, while providing a networking environment that fully leverages the facilities and social environment provided by the Kananaskis Lodge.

It is our objective to provide simple, yet varied sponsorship opportunities, thus addressing the varied requirements of our partners. Please note that all of the revenue generated from our sponsors will be used in order to help offset the following expenses:
- Provide affordable student registration rates
- Pay for emerging scientist awards
- Keynote speaker remuneration
- Social events and entertainment
- Support of student events (budget permitting)

Our Exhibitor Mission
It is our objective to provide simple, yet varied exhibition opportunities, thus addressing the varied requirements of our partners. We plan to provide a pre-determined set-up kit for all exhibitors. Please note that all exhibitors will share one large area, and priority of placement will be sold in accordance of receipt of deposits using a tiered system with preferred locations.
The FBS 2019 committee is confident that as an exhibitor, you will be able to leverage the exposure to a large number of attendees, from a variety of sectors in the footwear industry and academic institutions. Further, we recognize that many of our exhibitors are scientists themselves, and thus, up to two congress registrations will be included for our exhibitors.
