The Footwear Biomechanics Symposium will take place at the Pomeroy Lodge, within the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains in Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada, conviently located only 90 minutes (120 km) from the Calgary International Airport.
To get to and from the symposium attendees can make use of several transportation options:
Taxi
Taxi cabs will be prevalent at the airport and can provide transport to the Pomeroy Kananaskis Lodge. After picking up your luggage and exiting customs at the Calgary International Airport, follow the signs to the taxi line located outside. Taxi rates may vary based on many conditions, however, a trip from Calgary International Airport to the Pomeroy Kananaskis Lodge is currently estimated at $211.13CAD.
Ride Sharing
Ride sharing services such as Uber are operational and available for use to and from the Calgary International Airport as well as the Pomeroy Kananaskis Lodge. Ride sharing rates may vary based on many conditions, however, a trip from Calgary International Airport to the Pomeroy Kananaskis Lodge is currently estimated (by Uber) at $116-$152CAD
Bus Transportation
Bus transportation between the Calgary International Airport and the Pomeroy Lodge in Kananskis will be provided for attendees of the Symposium for a low fee of $30CAD per person (one way). Attendees who will make use of the this transportation option must pre-purchase a ticket (below).
